90th Anniversary
Tokyo, June 2019 | The Anniversary Report traces the highlights of BIEM, which became international since the late 60s, but it was European at the beginning. It managed to adjust to last on the backdrop of technological developments, economic hazards and legal changes.
From its creation and thanks to its reforms in 1969, 2013 and 2018, BIEM's core activities has been focused on the management of the mechanical reproduction right with the aim to ensure the remuneration of the rights holders.
